Historical Romance
Blake Sanders, the
Duke of Wexford is a proper English gentleman. Gertrude Finch is
an outspoken American suffragette visiting London as an escort
to a young relative. Cross the Ocean is the story of
an undesired, yet undeniable attraction that takes Blake and
Gert across an ocean and in to each other's arms.

Gertrude Finch is a feminist from America who travels to London
to meet family she has there. She is a strong-willed woman who
has finally met her match in a staunch Brit.
Blake Sanders is very snobbish, a part of London’s high
society, and has just found out his wife has left him. Through a
set of misadventures he has fallen in love with a loud mouthed
woman from America.
This couple is truly a case of opposites attract! They could not
be more different from one another than black and white! He is a
proper English gentleman; she an outspoken women from America.
The adventures these two find themselves in are nothing short of
hilarious.
I found myself rooting for this couple as I smiled and chuckled
through their
misadventures across the oceans, in both countries. The
relationships between the main characters and the background
cast worked so well I had a hard time putting this one down. The
humorous way the story played out makes the reader feel a part
of the story. I am a new fan of Ms. Bush’s writings and Highly
recommend this humorous love story!
