About Holly
Bush
Holly
Bush grew up in western Pennsylvania surrounded by readers. Her
father Charles’ stack of books was read simultaneously and was
often eight or ten high, ranging from westerns to science fiction
to biographies. As a child, Holly remembers anytime there was any
remodeling done in their home the focus was on where the newest
bookcase would be placed or where the bookshelves would be hung.
Reading was the main entertainment in the evening until Bonanza or
The Twilight Zone came on the television.
Holly
cut her reading teeth on Nancy Drew, Agnes Sligh Turnbull and then
fell in love with the John Jakes’ Patriot series. To Kill a
Mockingbird still stands out for her as a reading standard. Some
of her favorite authors include Mary Balogh, Maggie Osborne,
Grisholm, Ludlum and a new favorite, Lee Child.
Holly’s
family includes her husband, two daughters, two cats and two dogs.
Her crew made a move to eastern Pennsylvania a few years ago to be
close to her sister and brother-in-law.
Holly
loves to hear from readers and discuss her book. Especially
Gertrude and Blake’s passionate attraction. She also invites you
to check out her commentary page and urges readers to share their
thoughts.
